படம் மொத்தம் இரண்டு பாகங்களாக தயாராகியுள்ள நிலையில், விக்ரம், கார்த்தி, ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய், ஜெயம் ரவி, த்ரிஷா, பார்த்திபன் என பெரும் நட்சத்திரப்பட்டாளமே நடித்துள்ளது. பிரபல இசையமைப்பாளர் இசைப்புய ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் படத்துக்கு இசையமைத்துள்ள நிலையில் ஏற்கெனவே பாடல்கள் செம ஹிட் அடித்துள்ளன.

Done with #ps1 .Really a genuine attempt, definitely pride of Kollywood. I badly wanted #ps1 to make box office wonders in pan indian level. The film had huge potential to be similar to bahubali level but it missed the mark. It’s way too long and some scenes just drags. #ManiRatnam weakest work till date. Still not a bad film but Disappointed as had high expectations. Detail review soon
