Ponniyin Selvan 2 Movie Twitter Review: பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்புகளுக்கிடையே வெளியாகியுள்ள பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படத்தை முதல் காட்சி பார்த்த ரசிகர்கள் சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் தங்கள் கருத்துகளை பதிவிட்டு வருகின்றனர். 

கல்கியின் ’பொன்னியின் செல்வன்’ நாவலைத் தழுவி அதே பெயரில் பொன்னியின் செல்வன் என்ற படம் இயக்குநர் மணிரத்னத்தால் எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த படத்தில் விக்ரம், கார்த்தி, ஜெயம் ரவி, த்ரிஷா, ஷோபிதா துலிபாலா, ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய், சரத்குமார், ஜெயராம், பார்த்திபன், ஐஸ்வர்யா லட்சுமி, விக்ரம் பிரபு, பிரபு, லால், ஜெயசித்ரா,நாசர் உள்ளிட்ட  பல நட்சத்திரங்கள் நடித்துள்ளனர்.  ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் இசையமைத்துள்ள இந்த படத்தை லைகா நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ளது. 

பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படத்தின் முதல் பாகம் கடந்த ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 30 ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகி பெரும் வரவேற்பை பெற்றது. வசூலிலும் ரூ.500 கோடியை தாண்டிய இப்படம் அந்தாண்டின் அதிக வசூல் செய்த தமிழ் படங்கள் பட்டியலில் முதலிடம் பெற்றது. குழந்தைகள் தொடங்கி பெரியவர்கள் வரை கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக தியேட்டருக்கு படையெடுத்தனர். நாவலை படித்தவர்களுக்கும், படிக்காதவர்களுக்கும் என அனைவரையும் திருப்திப்படுத்தும் விதத்தில் படமானது எடுக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. 

இந்நிலையில் பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படத்தின் 2 ஆம் பாகம் ஏப்ரல் 28 ஆம் தேதியான இன்று வெளியாகியுள்ளது.  இதனால் ரசிகர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளனர். முன்னதாக கடந்த இரு வாரங்களாகவே படத்தின் ப்ரோமோஷன்களுக்காக படக்குழு தீவிரமாக பணியாற்றி வந்தது.  பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படத்தின் தமிழ்நாடு தியேட்டர் வெளியீட்டு உரிமையை உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலினின் ரெட் ஜெயன்ட் நிறுவனம் கைப்பற்றியிருந்தது.

இந்நிலையில் படத்தின் சிறப்பு காட்சிக்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கப்படாத நிலையில், தமிழ்நாட்டில் முதல் காட்சி காலை 9 மணிக்கு தான் திரையிடப்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால் அமெரிக்காவில் அதிகாலை 1.30 மணிக்கும், கர்நாடகா மற்றும் ஆந்திரா, தெலங்கானாவில் சிறப்பு காட்சிக்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த காட்சிகளில் பொன்னியின் செல்வன் படம் பார்த்தவர்கள் அதுதொடர்பாக தங்கள் கருத்துகளை ட்விட்டரில் பதிவிட்டுள்ளனர். அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை கீழே காணலாம். 

#PonniyinSelvan2: Passable sequel that brilliantly handles emotions! Though the pacing may be slow akin to its predecessor, the drama unfolds seamlessly. Commendations to the legendary #Manirathnam sir's taking .. Snail paced Screenplay, great Production and epic BGM #PS2 > #PS1.

#PonniyinSelvan2 by #ManiRatnam is the visual ending that #Kalki’s #PonniyinSelvan and #PS1 deserved. It’s an amazing rendition of what becomes a emotional fairytale. #ARRahman is at his best, #RaviVarman excels and the whole crew has outdone themselves from Part 1. Do watch!

The drama is decent for the most part along with the art design & songs. However, the film feels stretched out in parts due to slow/flat pacing and could use trimming. Better than the 1st Part
